This video was an ad/promotion for Help Wanted. It's pretty amusing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcyGej8Mfgg
Now, Josh is returning to Centerstage in January of 2008 with his sequeal!
His new preformance, a solo act called Now What?, focuses on his life as an artist as he attempts to continue his one-man routines, inspired by Spalding Gray, while trying to avoid a "sophomore slump". (This aticle about Spalding Gray is really his obituary, but it gives a good overview of his life and accomplishments.)
Now What? will run Wed. through Sun. from Jan. 3 to Jan. 20 at 8:30 p.m. Sunday performances will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for genreal public, $15 for Centerstage subscribers and $10 for students! See, it helps to be broke and in college.
What I like most Josh's preformance is his sincere honestly and openness. He truly exudes his persona as he discusses his journey. It's quite autobiographical. His story gives you a sense of hope, espeically if you are an artist trying to paddle your own way down the river of preformance art.
There's only about 94 seats available per night. I highly suggest seeing this show. You will get your money's worth in laughs.
